BTN: Questions about Paris

This week’s BTN report was all about Paris and ISIL’s move against it. Monuments all over the world lit up it the colors of Paris’s flag to spread awareness, some of which included Australia’s parliament house and Sydney Habour Bridge. All around the world country’s are in risk of getting attacked by ISIL and Australian’s are in high risk of that happening. But Australia have a lot of protection to keep us safe. I understand that Australia is a protected country and we all will be safe, I also understand that ISIL has killed 1000’s of people.

What other monuments in the world were lit up in blue, white and red?

BTN: Scrabble Stars

This week’s BTN report was about scrabble and how sometimes you will play it on a rainy day but for others scrabble means a lot more. More than 125 kids have been competing to be the world champion. In 2015 more than 1000 words have been added to the scrabble dictionary, like  hashtag, selfie, lol, emoji, frenemy, onsie and bromance. I understand some people consider it more than a board game and I also understand these words where added because of the amount of use.

What other words where added?
